Membership is at the heart of the club. Whether you play, support from the sidelines, or sponsor the club, membership helps sustain everything we do — from matchdays and facilities to player development and the wider rugby community.
There are several ways to be involved with the club, and each type of membership plays an important role in supporting its future.
Playing Membership
All players at the club must be registered members.
Playing membership covers player registration and eligibility and includes Social membership benefits as part of the package. Players do not need to purchase a separate Social membership.
If you are joining the club as a player, you will be guided through the registration process by the club or your team management.
Social Membership
Social membership is open to anyone who wants to support the club and enjoy the benefits of being a member, even if they don’t play.
Social Members are an important part of club life and help support the running of the clubhouse and matchday operations.
Benefits include:
- Access to member benefits in the clubhouse
- Supporting the club and its facilities
- Being part of the wider club community

Joining or Renewing your membership
Memberships are managed through the RFU’s official membership platform, which ensures records are kept accurately and securely.

Sponsors
Sponsors play a vital role in supporting the club on and off the pitch.
Whether you sponsor:
- The club as a whole, or
- An individual player
All sponsors receive Red & Black Pass benefits as part of their sponsorship.
Sponsor benefits are recognised by the club and apply across the season. If you are a sponsor and have any questions about your benefits, the club will be happy to help.

Using Your Membership
Memberships are recognised at the club using a membership record linked to your name in the form of a QR code on your smartphone. Click the link below for instructions on how to add your Digital membership card to your Apple/Android Wallet.
If you do not have a smartphone, or prefer not to use a digital card, the club can:
- Provide a printed QR code for an existing card, or
- Look your membership up when required
No member will be disadvantaged by how they choose to access their membership.
Staying in Touch
When signing up or renewing, members are asked for an email address so the club can:
- Share fixtures and results
- Communicate important club updates
- Keep members informed about events and news
Your information is used only for club purposes and is handled in line with data protection requirements.
